高中生英语词汇学习对策比较

词汇在英语教学和学习中起到非常重要的作用。没有词汇,听、说、读、写这四个基本的外语能力会遇到阻碍。然而,很多学生抱怨英语单词太多,全部记住实在太难了而且学了很快又会忘。国内外的学者和老师对词汇学习对策做过不少研究和贡献。但他们大多把目光放在大学生上。此研究指在探索高中学生词汇学习对策的使用情况,高一和高三学生词汇对策使用的差异以及词汇对策和词汇量二者之间的关系。被调查的学生来自天津大学附属中学。调查数据由SPSS16.0统计软件浅析浅析。研究主要发现:首先,被调查的大部分学生认为词汇可以通过不同的渠道学习。词汇可以死记硬背,还可以通过上下文和实际应用来学习。第二,被调查的学生使用多种对策学习词汇,高一和高三学生在排演和组织对策的使用上有显著性差异。第三,计划、组织、推测、演绎、合作、提问以澄清和自我暗示与词汇量呈显著性正相关;排演和词汇量负相关。

Without vocabulary, the basic abilities of English:listening, speaking, reading and writing will encounter great difficulties. However, many students complain that there are too many words in English and it’s difficult for them to remember all. And they forgot the words quickly. Many experts and teachers from both abroad and home he made great contribution to vocabulary learning strategies. But, they pay much attention to university students. The present study aims to explore the vocabulary learning strategies adopted by senior high school students and shows the differences in vocabulary learning strategies adopted by senior one students and senior three students and also presents the correlation between vocabulary learning strategies and vocabulary size. The students surveyed are from the Middle School Attached to Tianjin University. The data is analyzed by SPSS (16.0 for window).The major findings are as follows:Firstly, most of the sampled students believe that the vocabulary should be learned through different ways. Vocabulary can be learned by rote. Vocabulary can be learned through context. Vocabulary can be learned through application.Secondly, the sampled students adopt a variety of strategies to learn vocabulary. The two group students take on significant differences only on two strategies: rehearsal and organization.Thirdly, several strategies are positively and significantly correlated with vocabulary size. They are planning, organization, inferencing, deducing, cooperation, questioning for clarification and self-talk. And rehearsal is negatively correlated with vocabulary size, but not significantly.
