America Schools is confronting violence, committing suicide resulted of lack of Education of Life. However, America is well known for her leading education, it is because it has a power sense of contemporary and future education crisis. In fact, J. Donald Walters, an American scholar, already introduced Education for Life as a concept of integrating education in 1960s. This can be recognized as a human mind and rationality re-thinking to desperate desire of capitali.To give child the latent technique to different challenges in the life, Education for Life, in fact, means the issue of‘human fundamental change’. For the lack of technique of the growing life of child and youth, some topics of spiritual education is same as some parts of Education for Life: facing dying education, financial education, moral education towards community and other people lives, health education when they are confronted with health problem and know how to react, spiritual education for encouraging individual human being. All these aspects show American contemporary education concerning for adolescent life.The research and practice of America Education for Life can be shown on many aspects throughout their education, however, there is no systematic analysis and research. Based on view of life, this paper tries to make an in-depth analysis on the United States aims and contents from the background of their theory, education institutes and society, then, a clear view of fundamental American Education of Life can be shown. Based on referring preceding research result, this paper also tries to give out something on some missing parts, from multi aspects research on American adolescent Education for Life. Therefore, we hope to give a hand on this study. Because of different cultural background, there is a different point of view about education value between china and America. However, life is the key point of education, the foundation of all education. Referring to the good experience of America Education for Life has an important meaning for china’s contemporary Education for Life research.This paper divides into 5 parts: Part I introduces the background of the launching of Education for Life in Grade 1 to 12 in United States. Part II points out the goals of American Education of life, which includes education institutes, law and regulation, experts’point of view. Part III describes the contents, which includes cherishing and respecting, spreading and individual development, caring for life harmony. Part IV studies on the methods of how the America schools defuse Education for Life to their students. Part V is based on the before contents, merging the lack of adolescent Education for life in china, give out some thinking and constructional suggestions.
