摘要:儿童文学是孩子们喜闻乐见的一种文学形式,它在给孩子们带来欢乐与趣味的同时,也通过其本身的价值、内容潜移默化地影响着孩子各方面的成长。因而,儿童文学的主要功能是娱乐和教育。儿童文学的翻译作为一种跨文化交际行为,其主要目的是让国内的读者能够欣赏到内容更加丰富,形式更为多样的儿童文学作品,同时推动文化交流。近年来,大量优秀的国外儿童文学被引进中国,但这些儿童文学译作在语言表达和文化信息传递等方面仍有着不少不足,翻译的质量以总体上来说也并不高。这主要是因为长期以来,儿童文学在整个文学翻译系统中处于边缘地位,儿童文学翻译实践仍缺乏充分的论述指导与支持。功能翻译论述是一个相对年轻但颇具影响力的翻译论述,它打破了语言学的束缚,将探讨焦点以源文本转向了目标文本,并取得了令人瞩目的探讨成果。其主要的论述包括:文本类型学、翻译行为论述、目的论和功能加忠诚原则。这四个方面紧密结合,彼此传承与进展,构成了一套较为完整的论述系统。
