【Abstract】wWw.shuoshilunwen.com Publicity of government information is important content and key steps to deepen administrative system reform, is important system security to build transparent governmennt, rule of law governmennt, responsible government and service-oriented government. Since the reform and opening up, under the correct leadership of the Communist Party of China and the State Council, through the construction process of three stages which include exploration, development and improvement, publicity of government information has made great achievements in comforting. As the pace of market economic system reform is continuing to deepen, social conflicts are complex, the intensity of requiring information disclosure of the social issues which concern about major people’s own interests is increasing, publicity of government information is facing unprecedented challenges. New era, new situation, how to achieve system improvement and practice innovation about publicity of government information, make majority of people really enjoy the service and convenience of publicity of government information, is one of the important tasks which the Party and Government are promoting the historical process of social reform fully.The paper consisits of three parts. The first part, from the people’s sovereignty, right to information and the mass line elaborates the theoretical basis of publicity of government information deeply, at the same time, generalize the significant role which publicity of government information promotes construction plant of socialist modernization with Chinese characteristic comprehensively and systematically. The second part, insists on the scientific attitude of seeking truth from facts, analyze the new era of development status of publicity of government information objectively and comprehensively, fully absorb and learn from the succesul experiences, but also correct understand the problems existed in practice. The third part, trys to from four sides of concept strengthening, system sound, mechani innovation and technical support, active discover the route of promoting the further development of publicity of government information in the new era, in order to speed up the construction process of legalization and institutionalized of publicity of government information.
