The way to settle unemployment issue in socialist market economy in China is regarded as an important research project that calls for immediate solution. It is certainty and sensible to build a kind of unemployment theory and mechani on the basis of Marxist theoretical foundation and in coincidence of contemporary China’s national conditions.The unemployment in China is unique, complex, changing and challenging. It is unique in the world that rapid economic growth and rising unemployment coexist, Total contradictions and structural contradictions interlace. Marxi unemployment theory, an important part of the scientific system of Marxi, causes academic members a great deal of concern. It is valuable to solute unemployment by applying Marxi unemployment theory. The paper starts from the survey to dig and system order the Marxist classical unemployment theories. The relationship between traditional unemployment system and is considered as the logic point of this paper’s unemployment theory. The unemployment condition in every period since the founding of China is systematically studied in this paper. The paper also focuses on characteristics and causes about China’s unemployment issue. It is ended with methods of controlling unemployment in china from the perspective of contemporary Marxi unemployment theory.The general methodological principle in the course of the study follows the principle of dialectical materiali and historical materiali. It can be specifically interpreted as the following three aspects, the first way is to combine theory with reality, the elaboration theory is highlighted and also supported by the practical reality, the second way is the combination of history and logic, and the discussion is expanded by the development track of history and logic. The third way is comparative study. It is comparatively analyzed between traditional employment system and Marxist’s ideal assumption of the full employment in future society. In a word, all the methods mentioned above is only to seek the clarity of logic close, other applied methods concludes literature review as well as graphical analysis.
