模块化产品艺术设计策略

杨振宁预言,21世纪是一个设计的世纪,产品设计是大势所趋。在市场竞争日趋激烈和全球化的今天,对生活的方方面面要不断重新设计。传统的设计策略和工程手段已经与实际要求不相适应。因此,希望寻求一种价廉质优的开发平台来弥补传统的设计策略的不足,并且确保他们能够得到最佳的设计结果。所以,设计师们不得不求助于一系列先进的产品设计技术、产品设计工具和产品设计策略,以期缩短产品的设计周期,提高设计质量,降低设计成本和投资风险,减少重复工作等等,并在产品功能与外型两个方面实现创新,从而满足瞬息万变的市场需求和赢得用户的青睐。设计、技术和艺术之间应建立一种新的融合,我们不能孤立地强调功能主义,而忽略艺术对产品本身的影响,同时也不能过分为表现艺术而忽略功能性和产品制造技术,艺术与设计必须完美地结合。计算机技术的深入发展和广泛应用必定将模块化产品艺术设计策略的研究和应用引向深入并逐步走向产品形态设计智能化。因此,研究模块化产品艺术设计策略具有重大意义。本文结合自己多年来在生产第一线进行产品设计的体会、设计实践和理论研究,基于现造技术提出了模块化产品艺术设计策略,然后对该策略逐步展开深入研究和论述。格式塔心理学和中国传统哲学为模块化产品艺术设计策略提供了形态美学理论基础,模块化产品理论为模块化产品艺术设计策略提供了结构理论基础。对产品模块的规划、划分、分类和标准化进行了具体论述。产品功能模块的研究和设计不是产品艺术设计的重点,产品艺术设计的重点主要是产品艺术形态的设计,其中包括产品形体模块的构建和产品外观装饰模块的构建。模块整合采用物理配置法、机器生成法、形式要素法和情感表现法进行。并以咖啡壶的形态设计为例具体说明模块整合法的应用。一个模块整合产品还要进行反复的形态艺术设计直至整体形态优美。最后,将模块化产品艺术设计策略应用到机床设计实践中,对研究成果进行检验。

Nowadays, we are required to re-design all aspects of life, because the globalizing market is becoming more and more competitive. The traditional design methods and engineering measures are not compatible with practical requirement. So, we hope to find an inexpensive and high-quality way to compensate the shortcoming of the traditional one and to make sure that we can get the best design results. Therefore, designers he to resort to a series of the advanced technologies, instruments and methods of product design in order to shorten the cycle of product design, improve the quality of design, reduce the cost of design and investment risk, and lessen the repeated work. At the same time, we can make innovations in such aspects as function and appearance of products to satiy the needs of the market changing fast and win customers’ for. A new harmonious relation should be established among design, technology and art. On the other hand, We cannot merely emphasize functionali and ignore the impact of the art on products; on the other hand, we cannot pay too much attention to the art expression but overlook the function and the manufacturing technology of the product. The art must be well combined with the design. The deep development and wide applications of the computer technology will inevitably lead the research and applications of the modularized product art design to deeper development and to product form design intelligence step by step. Therefore, it is of great importance to study the method of the modular product art design.According to my experience of doing the product design for many years in the workshop as well as design practice and the theoretical research, I first bring forward the method of the modular product art design based on modern manufacture technologies, and then discuss this method in detail. According to the Gestalt psychology and Chinese philosophy are the theoretical bases of the modular product art design. In the same time, 1 will detail the planning, the division, the classification and the standardization of the product modular. The research and design on the product function are not the focus of the product art design, which concentrates attention on the design of the product art form, which includes the formation of both structural modularfor products and the outside adornment modular for products. Modular conformity is achieved by such methods as the physical configure, machine-generating, formal-factors and emotion-expressing. I detail the application of the modular conformity by taking the form design of the coffeepot as an example. More over, a product of the modular-conformity also needs to be art-processed. Finally, I apply the method of the modular product art design to the design practice of the lathe and testify the research achievement.
