【Abstract】wWw.shuoshilunwen.com The book of Huainan Zi,edited by Liu’ an,has proved to be brilliant and had been taken seriously by Scholars and experts in various Dynasties for the reasons not only the book absorbed various schools’ ideas,but also developed them. Just as Gao-you in his book Explanation on Huainan Zi said:"If the scholar do not research the book of Huainan Zi,it is hard for him to know how abstruse the Chinese Taoi is." His remark is a reflection about the book’s academic value,and also indicated its’ important status in Chinese philosophy.However,Huainan Zi has been reproached by many scholars in history for two reasons below:One is that Liu’ an—the author of the book was killed by the emperor of Han Dynasty. Needless to say,his death was ashamed in many people’s eyes. This kind of opinion indirectly threw his book into an adverse plight.The other primary reason is the book itself.In the past only few scholars were willing to study this book because it’s too baronial and complex.This sort of condition did not make some change until recent several decades.Nowadays,more and more scholars began to turn their eyes on Huainan Zi and a lot of books were edited and written.These books opened new windows for those who are tempted to approach Huainan Zi,and also offered helpful materials for us to do some further research. For example,Zhu shu,the book writted by Roger T.Ames,is one in those famous and distinguished books.Unfortunately, though people had already paid a lot of attention on Huainan Zi’s politic idea,the political philosophy of this book has long been neglected.To seek out it’s idea concerning about political philosophy,and to find out it’s imminent clue on how to manage and how to design a more rational country can be very interesting and revealing.In this aspect,we he a long way to go.After my study of the book,I draw a conclusion about its’ political philosophy as follow:just like a house,the academic system of this book is regular and integrated.The uniting of man and nature,like the toft of a house,is the base of it’s political philosophy.And it’s principle of value,like pillars of a house,is the most important content of it’s philosophy.And the design of ideal society,I look it as a beautiful and glorious roof of a house,indicates Liu’ an aspire for a better society.My treatise takes the whole book as the all and the one. I Followed it’s innate logic and attempted to find out it’s true intention about how to build a more reasonable and more scientific society,which including it’s ideal society, it’s value principle and it’s base of philosophy.I sincerely hope my study is helpful for today’s harmonious society building,and also hope my research is significant for those who are interested in the subject of Political Philosophy.
